We offer you the
entirely self-contained ground floor residence, part of
which is also on the first floor, of this magnificent ancient
Tuscan Casa Padronale, or manor house. The left hand side
of the building is the remaining stub of a fortified watchtower
believed to date back to the 11th century. Around 1400 the
top of the tower was removed and the released materials
used to build around the original stub. Minor alterations
were made in the late 17th century and full restoration
took place in the 1980s.
The accommodation,
spacious at 150 square meters, is beautifully maintained
and comfortably furnished in true Tuscan style. The lush
garden offers both privacy and wonderful views.
Its central position makes an ideal
base for touring and visiting the most important places
of artistic and architectural importance and at the same
time it is an idyllic haven of rural peace and tranquility.
